The Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP) officially accepts hosting responsibilities for the 33rd Philippine Chemistry Congress (33PCC). During the closing ceremony of the 32nd Philippine Chemistry Congress held at the Citystate Asturias Hotel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan on 2 June 2017, ICP President and 33PCC Chair Dr. Fabian Dayrit invited the participants to be present at next year’s PCC. The focus of 33PCC is on analytical chemistry, as this branch of chemistry is a key component of national competitiveness and sustainable development.
In addition, the first National Conference on Chemical Laboratories (NCCL) will be held in tandem with the 33PCC. This inaugural conference aims to gather representatives from chemical and testing laboratories and update them with the latest regulations as prescribed by the new Chemistry Profession Act of 2015.
The 33rd Philippine Chemistry Congress will be held on 28-30 May 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Metro Manila. See you there!
