April 10-13, 2007
DAP Convention Center, Tagaytay City

Host: Integrated Chemists of the Philippines

(updated: March 27, 2007)

INVITATION
The Integrated Chemists of the Philippines cordially invites you to attend the 22nd Philippine Chemistry Congress (22PCC) which will focus on the timely theme: "Chemistry in Food Safety and the Environment".. The 22PCC will gather experts from the Philippines and abroad to discuss recent developments and trends in the diverse fields of chemistry which deal with food analysis, food quality, national and international standards, environmental analysis, as well as their implications for cleaner production (Green Chemistry) and Chemical Education.

DATE & VENUE
The 22PCC will be held from April 10 - 13, 2007, at the DAP Convention Center, in the City of Tagaytay, a favorite tourist attraction for local and foreign visitors. Tagaytay offers a breathtaking sight of the famous Taal Volcano - the word's smallest volcano which is nestled in the middle of a scenic lake. Tagaytay is a city with flowers in bloom along roadsides, its ridge swathed in green. The crisp climate, lush forests, open grasslands and gentle slopes make up a calm scene that refreshes the eye and invigorates the spirit. Tagaytay is about an hour and fifteen minutes drive from Metro-Manila via the Southern Luzon Expressway Sta. Rosa or Carmona exit, or through the Cavite Coastal Road. From Laguna or Batangas, you may go to Tagaytay through Greenfield or the Sta. Rosa exit. Public transportation to Tagaytay is plentiful. Buses from Manila depart from Lawton and Pasay City. When you reach the Tagaytay City bus terminal, take a jeepney to the DAP Convention Center. For further information, please visit http://www.tagaytay.gov.ph/.
