Numan Food Supplement Corporation is a food supplement manufacturing company that aims to provide high quality, innovative nutraceutical products to its customers. The company was founded and established as Numan Food Supplement in 2007. In 2012, with its growing product lines and clientele, the company was incorporated as Numan Food Supplement Corporation. After nearly a decade in the industry, in 2017, the company welcomed a new era under its new management.
We are currently engaged in the development and production of health supplement preparations such as capsules for adults and oral solutions for children. We utilize vitamins, minerals, plant extracts, and other nutrient sources in formulating safe, quality, and unique products in a highly competitive industry. Management and personnel from all levels work hand-in-hand in upholding the company’s commitment to quality and excellence through current Good Manufacturing Practice and continuous improvement.

Job Title: QC/R&D Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Duties as the PRC Licensed Chemical Technician
- Assist the Licensed Chemist and the Regulatory Affairs Department in ensuring compliance of the company with the requirements of the Professional Regulatory Commission with regards to the implementation of the Chemistry Law
- As General Quality Control (QC)
- Conducts physical and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products based on pharmacopeia and/or in-house requirements
- Recommends the approval or rejection of materials and products
- Establishes, validates, and implements quality control procedures
- Creates and/or maintains reference samples of materials and products
- Monitors the stability of finished products
- Accomplishes quality control records, forms, and other accompanying documents in an accurate and tidy manner while maintaining confidentiality and safekeeping
- Maintains and files quality control records
- Monitors inventory and request reagents, supplies, equipment, services and other items necessary for the conduct of laboratory testing
- Assist the Accounting Department or designated personnel in the procurement, receiving and checking of delivered items for QC use, particularly in clarifying technical matters
- Observes health and safety guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment; promptly informing Immediate Head and the Medical Department of illness or relevant health concerns, and recognizing, reporting and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area.
- Suggests ways to improve processes in order to achieve business goals e.g., improve cycle time and productivity
- As QC Instrumentation
- Maintains a neat and tidy work area according to good housekeeping and good laboratory practices
- Performs instrumentation analysis using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, pH Meter, analytical balance, moisture analyzer, dissolution tester, disintegration tester, and other QC laboratory apparatus
- Ensures that QC laboratory instruments are well-maintained and working within normal conditions and performs basic troubleshooting in case of equipment malfunction
- Maintains the inventory of spare parts, accessories and tools of QC laboratory equipment
- Assists the Maintenance Technician and/or third-party service provider during periodic preventive maintenance, calibration, or repair of laboratory instruments
- Ensures the laboratory equipment, air conditioners or air handling units and other electrically operated machines are turned off after use after use and before leaving the area.
- As Research and Development (R&D)
- Conducts research on new methods of analysis for starting materials and finished products, including performing trials and analytical method validation or verification
- Assists the Production Manager or designated R&D personnel in performing research on new products, especially in testing new products or variants
- As necessary, assists or acts as substitute in the absence of Quality Assurance personnel in performing in-line inspection during production or sampling and inspection of starting materials
- Performs other pertinent duties as assigned, should there be need for assistance in other areas of the organization
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Technology
- Licensed Chemical Technician
- At least with 1-2 years’ experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs in the food, nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry; Fresh graduates may apply
- Knowledgeable in current good manufacturing practice
- With excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Flexible, able to multi-task, works in teams, and performs work in a timely manner
- Willing to be assigned in Pasig City
