Job Title: Chemical Lab Head – Taguig
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling work to meet demands set by department and clients.
- Responsible for method verification, method validation and 4Q of equipment & instments.
- Contribute to achievement of production targets and quality goals in a safe and efficient manner.
- Contribute continual support to Operations team to ensure best processing practice is achieved, challenge and continuously optimized.
- Achieved yearly compliance on equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Monitor the turn-around-time of requested analysis and the submission of laboratory test result.
- Prepare internal reports, test reports and laboratory documents.
- Coordinate with Execution and Marketing department for customer-related concerns.
- Issue Job Order, review and verify test results.
- Prepare annual laboratory budget and project development cost.
- Additional duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
- Familiar with ISO/IEC 17015 standard
- Preferably with work experience in mining industry
- With background in water/wastewater sampling & physical/chemical analysis of water.
- Must be licensed Chemist
- Degree level qualification in Metallurgy, Analytical Chemistry or related courses
