I. RATIONALE
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP), it is fitting to recognize not only individual excellence but also the enduring legacy of the chemistry profession within Filipino families.
There exist families whose dedication to chemistry spans multiple generations—demonstrating a remarkable tradition of scientific pursuit, professional commitment, and mentorship. Such families embody the values and mission of ICP and serve as an inspiration to both current and future members of the profession.
This proposal seeks to establish a special recognition for families with at least two generations or two siblings of Chemists and/or Chemical Technicians, to honor their collective contribution to the advancement of chemistry in the Philippines.
II. OBJECTIVES
