Job Title: Chemist

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision on daily laboratory activities;
• Prepares weekly schedule of analyst;
• Establish, execute, review and evaluate laboratory procedures and policies for operating functions of the laboratory.
• Review and ensure that laboratory results are submitted on time to division supervisor/manager;
• Ensure that laboratory records & reports are maintained and permits are in place and coordinate with legal department;
• Coordinate with division supervisor/manager for quality issues;
• Provide training to analyst;

I. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring that the product meets the established standards of quality required for distribution and consumption by the market.

II. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES
A. General

• Performs physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses of raw materials, in- process products, and finished goods; and evaluate them in accordance with the specified sampling plan and specifications
