Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the testing of received test items from customers as per work order request in accordance with the latest available edition of Official Reference Books (USP/NF/BP /PP or other accepted compendium) and customer’s procedure whenever applicable.

Keeps equipment/instrument operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies; calling for repairs.

Responsible for maintenance and documentation of calibration, maintenance and operation of equipment.

Tests contaminated returns from customers and internally occurring incidents to assist in the investigation and root cause analysis of deviations or non-conformances. Reports results to enable informed decisions to be made.
Maintains the stocking of laboratory chemicals and supplies, the cleanliness and organization of the QA laboratory and ensures its premises are cleared and decontaminated prior to vacating.
Prepares timely and accurate Spoilage and Spillage Report (SSR) of all retention samples and endorses these items to the Sanitation Supervisor for proper disposal.
